In this exhibition accessible to children from 8 years, the moon is presented along three axes.
The first axis traces the beliefs and concepts associated with the moon in various civilizations since the earliest traces engraved on the bones of our ancestors up first scientific approaches.
The second focuses on astronomical observations, the conquest of the moon, the lunar missions and scientific data that gushed. The third axis focuses on the moon as “leaven” of the imagination. From literature to music, through painting and film, the moon is an inexhaustible source of inspiration … same for the myths and legends that adorn – or clutter – our imagination.
